FANTASTICOne-word impression: FANTASTIC Tan N. - Portland, OR TarBoush I'll be back! How many bad chicken shawermas did I and my girlfriend have to eat before finding TarBoush? I moved to Portland from San Francisco 4 months ago and was on a quest to find a Lebanese place with quality food like Ziryab in SF. Until TarBoush no one could compare. I no longer have to cross my fingers for a go-to place- TarBoush I'll be back. Jeremy H. - Portland, OR The food was great!I'm so full I could burst and it's all TarBoush's fault. The food was great, the service was better than expected, and the atmosphere was charming. I plan on returning, and in a town with so many restaurants to choose from, this is quite the compliment. Very good experienceStopped by here for dinner while walking around the neighborhood recently. It was pretty busy when we arrived, but the staff got us seated quickly and was very prompt and friendly. The food was good too. We tried an interesting Lebanese wine as well, and the wait staff was good about helping us pick out a bottle to go with the food. Very good experience - we plan to return in the near future. Matt S. - Portland, OR We will definitely be back!Great location on Hawthorne in a wonderfully decorated old Victorian house. The owner and her mother apparently do the cooking and it was very authentic. Great service, very friendly. Very reasonable prices with entrees under $12. We will definitely be back! Preston P. - Portland, OR New Gem of a RestaurantWe love Middle Eastern food and this new gem of a restaurant was terrific. Kati P. - Sammamish, WA |
