After a hot day at the Hawthorne Street Fair, we decided to venture on into this place ,so that we could sit in air conditioning.  We came in exactly on time for happy hour.  The happy hour menu consisted of a dollar off on certain happy hour items and a dollar off on house drinks.  The drinks we had were very good, basically a margarita with a Mediterranean fusion. The vegetarian grape leaves were good but a little salty.  The foul mouddamas was pretty good, but the cucumber yogurt dish was my favorite.  They had a really nice modern decor and allowed us to close the curtains because it was hot.  The owner came out and said good bye to me which added a nice friendly touch.  I would definitely come back when I'm in the area.
